Windows 7 Keyboard Shortcuts
Keyboard shortcuts enhance productivity and impress people. :) Well, sometimes. Windows 7 boasts more shortcuts than you can shake a stick at. Take that Mac!
Here are some of our favorites:
- Win+Home: Minimize all but the active window
- Win+Space: Peek behind your windows at the desktop
- Win+Up arrow: Maximize the active window
- Win+Down arrow: Minimize the active window or restore the window if it's maximized
- Win+Left arrow: Dock the window to the left side of the screen; If it is already docked left, it is moved to the right half of the screen; If it is already docked right, it is restored to its original size
- Win+Right arrow: Dock the window to the right side of the screen; If it is already docked right, it is moved to the left half of the screen; If it is already docked left, it is restored to its original size
- Win+T: Focus and scroll through items on the taskbar.
- Win+(+): Zoom in
- Win+(-): Zoom out
- Shift+Click on a task bar: Open a new instance of that application
