Web Design HTML & CSS Expert
UplinkSpyder is seeking an individual with strong HTML and CSS skills, coupled with a firm grasp of Adobe Photoshop to join its Web Team. This individual will be responsible for taking approved Photoshop design mock-ups and converting them into functional web pages (cross-browser compatible) using established CSS classes or creating new CSS classes as needed on existing properties. Knowledge of emerging technologies, such as HTML5, is a plus.
The correct candidate will have strong communication skills and be able to compile reports as and when requested.
Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, making approved updates to current pages throughout UplinkSpyder’s online properties, and working closely with the Development Team to ensure front-end compatibility with back-end systems.
Requirements:
- HTML
- CSS
- Able to work effectively with minimal supervision
- Self motivated and goal oriented
- Strong communication skills
- Be able to meet with principals in Eugene, Oregon as and when required
Pluses:
- 5 years experience with HTML and CSS
- General Marketing Experience
- Familiarity with web hosting principles
- Photography or Videography Experience
- Familiarity with Drupal
- Familiarity with Joomla
