Leadership

UplinkSpyder is the vision and passion of Emmanuel and Deanna Rivera. Emmanuel has over 20 years experience managing large IT departments and “Help Desk” environments, to include the banking and wholesale lending industries, and government (The City of Chicago). His expertise includes identifying existing and potential infrastructure security threats in information security systems, and he has done so for some of the world’s largest organizations, including the US government. Emmanuel is our lead technologist.

Deanna brings over 15 years operations and communications management experience to UplinkSpyder, including 10 years designing and developing web sites for small and large organizations and corporations. Her communications and administrative background provides our clients with an organized, creative collaborator who strives to provide excellence in customer service.

OK, But what’s With the Name... UplinkSpyder?

Well, we think it’s pretty catchy. Plus, as technologists, programmers, engineers, web Arachnologist, geeks, and with a flare for SiFi, we couldn’t resist adapting the name, UplinkSpyder.

The word “Uplink” has an obvious meaning, but for the purpose of our clients, it means that we provide direct communication and share the knowledge and skills we collect for the benefit of your business or individual needs.

The word “Spyder” or “Spider” represents both the navigation and processing of complicated systems (i. e. the Web) and security... which is one of Emmanuel's specialties.
